Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started with your services?

Simply fill out the contact form or call us at 254.640.0057. Provide the property address for your protest, and we’ll send you an e-signature agreement and contract to sign.

How do you lower my taxes?

We manage appraisal disputes, from filing paperwork to analyzing property values, communicating with appraisal districts, and attending hearings.

What is the timeline for seeing results?

With authorization, our team timely files appeals. The Appraisal District will schedule a hearing, usually between June and August. After the protest, you will receive an invoice with the achieved results.

When is the protest deadline?

Typically, May 15 or 30 days from the date of your appraisal notice.

What happens if my property appraisal protest is unsuccessful, or I miss the deadline?

If your protest is unsuccessful, you may have the option to pursue arbitration based on the hearing result. If you missed the protest deadline, we could assist with filing a late protest (though the burden of proof is greater).

Do I need to sign a contract yearly, or is this a continuous one?

The contract covers the tax year it is signed for and continues annually until terminated by either party. This allows us to monitor your property annually and protest if needed.

How do I know Property Tax Help is reputable?

Our team has over 50 years of experience in property tax disputes and negotiations, ensuring expert representation with a proven track record of success.
